| Monday March 4th
Meal 1 breakfast kashi cinnamon crunch & almond milk (forgot my apple at home :-(
Meal 2 am snack greek yogurt w/bananas
Meal 3 lunch homemade clean chicken veg soup (3 c. low-sodium chicken broth, 1 cup chopped carrots/onion/celery, 4oz chicken breast diced)...this is clean right???
Meal 4 afternoon snack carrots & string cheese
Meal 5 dinner turkey burger on whole wheat sandwich thin w/mustard/pickle, zucchini/yellow squash Meal 6 3oz chicken breast (I was absolutely starving & was craving all kinds of junk foods so I caved in and had some chicken breast, which did the trick).
Tuesday March 5th
Meal 1 breakfast 2 egg whites & slice tomatao on whole wheat sandwich thin
Meal 2 am snack chocolate raspberry protein shake
Meal 3 lunch 4 oz chicken breast on 2 c. romain with black beans, salsa & sprinkle mozz cheese (1 piece Hershey's Bliss dark chocolate...super tiny; hardly a bite).
Meal 4 afternoon snack carrots & string cheese
Meal 5 dinner tilapia, quinoa, zucchini/squash
Wed March 6th
Meal 1 breakfast cinnamon kashi crunch with almond milk, hot tea
Meal 2 am snack 2/3 c. 1% cottage cheese & strawberries
Meal 3 lunch 4 oz turkey burger on 2 c. lettuce, black beans, salsa & mozz YUM-O!
Meal 4 afternoon snack baby shower fiasco: 1/4 slice pizza, 1 chicken wing, small spoonful Mexican dip & 4 or 5 tortilla chips, small square of cake
Meal 5 dinner 4 oz tenderloin steak, broccoli, mushrooms/onions
Thursday March 7th
Meal 1 breakfast cinnamon kashi cereal, almond milk, banana
Meal 2 am snack greek yogurt with strawberries
Meal 3 lunch 4 oz turkey burger on 2 c. lettuce, black beans, salsa & mozz
Meal 4 afternoon snack string cheese & carrots
Meal 5 2 beef tacos (PTA dinner for faculty for conference nite) and 1/2 glass pinot noir when I got home from school at 9:00pm finally!
Friday March 8th ** Lent Friday
Meal 1 breakfast kashi cinnamon crunch cereal w/almond milk
Meal 2 am snack greek yogurt w/strawberries
Meal 3 lunch natural pb & organic raspberry jam on a whole wheat thin & carrots
Meal 4 afternoon snack carrots & string cheese
Meal 5 dinner Grilled salmon over romaine sprinkle parmesean
Saturday March 9th
Meal 1 breakfast chocolate raspberry protein shake
Meal 2 am snack none, felt sick from workout
Meal 3 lunch grilled chicken over iceberg w/shredded cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes & mushrooms
Meal 4 afternoon snack 2 tbsp hummus & 7 whole grain kashi crackers
Meal 5 dinner chicken, tri-color peppers & beans, sprinkle mozz
Sunday March 10th
Meal 1 breakfast egg white omelet with turkey sausage on whole wheat sandwich thin
Meal 2 am snack Meal 3 lunch veggie burger, pickle, slice cheese on whole wheat sandwich thin Meal 4 afternoon snack hummus & kashi crackers
Meal 5 dinner clean spincah & chick peas

| Hi Jamie I wanted to make sure you saw this so I'm posting about the rice cakes here as well: The funny thing is that I had a pack of Quaker rice cakes in my cupboard when I started this program and I wanted to check to see if they are clean and couldn't believe that the only two ingredients were "whole grain brown rice and salt". You can also find them unsalted and lightly salted. I buy the Quaker brand. I would never have guessed that they were made with whole grain brown rice because they look "white" not "brown" to me, but they are! Hope this helps. Kim | |
